Program Overview

The Adult Education & Employment Program (AEEP) is the heart of Urban Circle Training Centre — a program designed for Indigenous adults who are ready to return to school, complete their Grade 12 diploma, and open doors to new opportunities.

AEEP is more than just upgrading. It is a transformational learning journey that combines:

  • Academic Achievement: Earn the credits you need to graduate with a Manitoba Grade 12 diploma.

  • Life Skills Development: Build practical tools for success in education, employment, and daily life.

  • Cultural Teachings: Learn in a setting where Indigenous identity, ceremony, and traditions are woven into the classroom.

Students who join AEEP often bring with them not only the dream of graduation, but also the responsibilities of family, community, and work. We understand this, and our staff walk alongside each learner with compassion, respect, and encouragement.

Graduates of AEEP leave with more than a diploma — they leave with confidence, community, and a clear path forward. Many go on to pursue college or university training, start rewarding careers in health care, education, and community services, or take leadership roles within their families and communities.

At UCTC, we believe that education is a path to self-determination, cultural pride, and lifelong success. The AEEP is where that path begins.
